24th of July Pioneer Celebration...

This year was  little different from the past 29 years...

The whole Peay family has always gathered at Lagoon for lunch, water park, rides, Uncle Don & Aunt Sharron's for dinner, fireworks and Paces popsicles.

Unfortunately this tradition came to a screeching halt :(

So this is where the word "Flexible" comes into play.  

Learning to adapt to changes and a new way of doing things...

and it's OK.

Megan did go to Lagoon and had a blast!

  Kevin went to work, I finished a craft project and then we headed to the movie theater...

A Saturday afternoon at the lake...

Bountiful Parade...

It's traditon..

Park at G&G Jones and walk to main street.  Sit on the church lawn and eat Arby's while watching the parade.  Afterwards we walk thought the craziness of the traffic jam and arrive back to G&G Jones house to sit on the front lawn and eat paces popsicles.  The guys had a little BBall action.  Then we stood in the driveway to watch the fireworks as they were lighting the sky perfectly between two trees.
