GIRLS DAY!

"FRIENDS ARE THE SUNSHINE OF LIFE"

August 6...Time for GIRLS DAY! Jan, Nancy & I began our day at the Park City Outlet Mall. We enjoyed shopping and talking. After walking the outlet we then went to lunch at Szechwan Chinese Kitchen. It was great! Next we headed to Jan's cabin for the afternnon. What a treat to see how her 2 year project turned out. From scratch to finish. It was amazing to see how it all came together. Nice job Jan! We enjoyed visiting and showering Jan with birthday gifts. We then took the 4-wheelers for a fun ride, with Jan as our tour guide, to enjoy the great outdoors! Our final stop for the night was Kamas, where we enjoyed a burger at the famous "Dicks Drive-In". Our theme for the day became "Something New".

HAPPY FATHERS DAY...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to a WONDERFUL...Husband, Father & Son.

A DAD is a person who is loving and kind,
And often he knows what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens, suggests, and defends.
A DAD can be one of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs, but when things go wrong,
A DAD can be patient and helpful and strong
In all that you do, a DAD'S love plays a part.
There's always a place for him deep in your heart.
And each year that passes, you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud just to call him your DAD!
THANK YOU, DAD...
for listening and caring, for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being YOU!

Happy Father's Day.

Kevin and his Dad, Wayne. Grandpa Peay!

The day started out with changes being made to the U32 Bishopric. Kevin was released as 2nd Counselor to Bishop Murray and then sustained as the 1st Counselor. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve in this wonderful calling. Our family has been blessed in so many ways. President Dunn asked Megan to share some thoughts about her Dad and then her testimony. It was a sweet moment for her and her Dad as she very simply expressed her love and appreciation to him, along with her testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ.

Thank you Kevin for your example, love & concern for each of us. You are truly a special Son of our Heavenly Father. WE LOVE YOU!
