A New Journey...

Today Kevin was set apart as a High Counselor for the Student Marriage 2nd Stake at the University of Utah.  This sacred ordinance was performed by President Durham and his counselors at our home.

President Hutchison 1st counselor, Kevin, President Durham and President Murray 2nd counselor

Josh, Kevin, Matt

What a blessing it was to have Josh & Kelli and Matt & Hayley there to support their dad.
We missed Landon who could not be there and Megan who was traveling home with her team from Idaho.

I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go...

What started out to be an ordinary day changed when the phone rang at 1:30pm...

Brother Peay this is President Murray.  President Durham would like you and Cindy to meet with the Stake Presidency at 3:00pm.  Would you be available?

Once Kevin gained his composure and took a deep breath...we then determined what we needed to do in preparation for dinner with the kids as our home teachers would be stopping by soon.  We were now on our way to Salt Lake City...the Uof U area.

After 101/2 months back in the home ward...the Lord was now calling us to a new assignment.  The Young Married Stake at the University of Utah with Kevin serving on the High Council.   This will be our new home away from home each Sunday for the next 3 years.

A new adventure in the life of the Peay's.

I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go....

MEGAN IS BACK ON THE MOUND AND GOING STRONG!

After 4 months of healing and physical therapy...Megan was released on February 20th to once again be an active part of the team on the field.  So she picked up the softball and started throwing!

Since then she has traveled to California, North Carolina, Florida and Texas.
Coach has slowing been working her into the rotation inning by inning.  Allowing not only her left shoulder, but right shoulder as well to gain strength and endurance.

I am happy to report that she has been blessed with added strength and ability to help her team.
Her current overall pitching era is 2.02...record of 5-1-1 with 27.2 innings pitched.

#2
Standing at attention as the National Anthem is being played.

Keep up the Great work on the field and off the field!
Go Wolverines!
