Get a photobucket account (free). Use the direct link from the image there. In blogger when you upload images you choose using url and paste the URL for the image in photobucket.
I had the same problem. I finally just printed a years worth of blogging through Blog2Print and had to delete them. But...i LOVE my blog book!
